Week 9

Writing

This week we will be starting our second explanation in Writing. We will be writing about how colour moves (or walks) in this science activity. This is called chromatography in science.

Maths

Check out your group maths page on this blog. I have photographed some pages from NZCM. Do these pages after you finish the set work in your maths tote trays.

Reading

Most of our reading will be focused on our topic about the Marae and also our puberty topic.

Visual Art

We need to get our visual art completed this week so we can share our beautiful Hundertwasser work on the blog before the holidays.

Solo/Te Reo Maori

We will be using Puppet Pals to share what we have learnt about the Marae.

Jump Jam

Don't forget Jump Jam every Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday at 10.45.

Week 7 Writing

This week we are starting a new unit of learning that's about writing 'explanations'.

An explanation tells us how or why something works or happens. We are going to make a hovercraft and write an explanation about how and why it works.

Here is a good video about our project.
